DAN CONG 单 丛 Oolong
For me, who is used to tea bags, the first time I tasted this Dancong tea, the feeling on the tip of my tongue was like an ancient Egyptian mummy suddenly sitting up from a coffin. The fragrance seemed to tell me: you think you know tea, but you are just a beginner, and you haven't even experienced the most basic "ancient civilization drink".
Then there is the sweet aftertaste - I know, this word sounds a bit pretentious, but it does exist. The long-lasting taste expands in the mouth, and it seems to have a little uneasy lightness, which makes me want to put a few more mouthfuls into my mouth immediately. This cup of tea made me realize that some things can only be tasted in their true depth after being polished by time.
